Nicolas Jackson continued his strong start to life at Aston Villa by scoring twice in a match-winning performance against Manchester City.
The forward’s double provided the decisive contribution as Villa secured victory over City. His display underlined the immediate impact he has made since beginning his career with the club.
Jackson’s performance has also prompted comparisons with Ollie Watkins, with his early form being viewed as a potential upgrade in Villa’s attack. The assessment comes after the striker followed his promising start with two goals in a high-profile fixture.
The result gives further weight to the view that Jackson is quickly establishing himself as an important player for Aston Villa. His latest contribution came against Manchester City, with his two goals determining the outcome of the match.
