Ian Poulter has announced that he is leaving LIV Golf, becoming the latest prominent name to depart from the Saudi-backed circuit.
Poulter said he wants to help his sons develop towards professional golf careers. Alongside that family focus, he plans to devote more attention to building his YouTube channel.
His departure comes amid a continuing exodus of high-profile players from LIV Golf. The announcement does not provide further details about Poulter’s future playing plans or the timing of his exit.
Poulter’s next steps will centre on supporting his sons’ ambitions and expanding his online content, while his departure adds to the list of notable names no longer involved with LIV Golf.
